The National Service Authority (NSA) has deployed 13,700 trained teachers from accredited teacher training colleges for the 2025/2026 service year.
All deployed personnel must check their placements and print appointment letters from www.nss.gov.gh for endorsement by their assigned institutions.

Service begins on April 2, 2025, with regional validation running from March 26 to April 11, 2025. The NSA emphasizes that national service remains mandatory under the National Service Authority Act (ACT 1119), 2024.
According to the letter, the agency reaffirms its commitment to bridging education gaps, especially in rural areas, through partnerships with the Ghana Education Service (GES), CHASS, and private schools.
