Zanetor Sworn in as Chairman of Security and Intelligence Committee of Parliament

Ghana’s Parliament has inaugurated its first-ever Committee on Security and Intelligence, with Hon. Dr. Zanetor Agyeman-Rawlings sworn in as Chairperson. The committee was established under Order 258 (4) of the new Standing Orders of Parliament, which took effect in January 2024.

During the swearing-in ceremony, Speaker of Parliament Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin congratulated the members and urged them to handle their responsibilities with diligence and discretion, given the sensitive nature of security matters.
