The Ghana Police Service has opened an investigation into a viral TikTok video in which a man is heard threatening the lives of President John Dramani Mahama and the First Lady.
The video, which has been widely shared online, sparked public outrage and prompted swift action from law enforcement authorities.

Police say two people Prince Ofori and Yayra Abiwu have been arrested and are currently in custody assisting with the investigation.
According to a police, efforts are underway to locate and question other individuals believed to be connected to the video.
Authorities have reminded the public that threats against the life of the President or any individual are criminal offences and will be treated with the utmost seriousness.
