The 2024 MTN Ghana Football Association (GFA) Awards is set to take place on Saturday, October 19, 2024, at the Dr. Kofi Ohene Konadu Auditorium, at the University of Professional Studies, Accra (UPSA).
The event is anticipated to bring together football enthusiasts, players, and officials to celebrate excellence in Ghanaian football by recognizing the outstanding achievements of individuals and teams during the 2023/24 football season.
One of the key highlights of this year’s event is the continued partnership between the GFA and telecommunications giant MTN, who has secured the title sponsorship for the Awards. Their involvement is expected to elevate the overall experience for attendees, as the ceremony promises to be even more memorable, with exciting moments and recognition of the best talents in the country’s football.
The Awards will be presented to top performers from various competitions, including the Ghana Premier League, Women’s Premier League, Division One League, Men’s and Women’s FA Cup, the Regional Juvenile Leagues, and other divisional leagues across the regions. These categories ensure that the scope of the awards reflects a broad appreciation of the hard work and dedication across all levels of Ghanaian football.

It important to note that this marks the second edition of the GFA Awards, following a successful inaugural event held in 2023 at the same venue.
