According to the Presiding Bishop, the proposed youth retreat centre will be used by various youth groups within the church, including the Methodist Youth Fellowship (MYF), Boys’ and Girls’ Brigade, Girls’ Fellowship, and the Ghana Methodist Students’ Union (GHAMSU). He emphasized that the facility will host seminars, workshops, leadership training sessions, worship services, and other spiritually uplifting programmes.

The Presiding Bishop further stated that a 2,000-capacity architectural structure has been designed for the Youth Retreat Centre.

“This initiative will demonstrate to our young people that the church cares deeply about their welfare and spiritual growth,” he said. “It is not only a building; it is a symbol of hope, discipleship, and commitment to the next generation.”

He further appealed to all faithful and cheerful givers to contribute generously to this noble cause.

The Most Rev. Prof. Asamoah-Gyadu finally appealed and encouraged every member of the Methodist Church Ghana to be part of this legacy project, stressing that “God will surely bless everyone who supports this vision.”
