Hon. Opoku Emmanuel, popularly known as Teacher 80, the Assembly Member for the Nkwanta-Temante Electoral Area in the Kumawu District, in collaboration with the WE ALSO CARE FOUNDATION, has donated food items to widows in Temante.
The kind gesture took place at the Temante Pentecost Church on Sunday, April 20, 2025.
Hon. Opoku was accompanied by Rev. Daniel Gyasi-Nimako, the Minister in charge of the Kumawu Emmanuel Methodist Church, Madam Lydia Owusu Afriyie, Mr. Armstrong Ohemeng Delwin, other Assembly Members.
Hon. Opoku (Teacher 80), together with the WE ALSO CARE FOUNDATION, donated bags of rice, 5kg of tin tomatoes, sardines, cooking oil, and a bar of Key Soap to 40 widows.
In an exclusive interview with GH Educate, Hon. Opoku revealed that it is one of his priorities to extend a helping hand to the needy, especially widows, in his electoral area. He took the opportunity to assure the widows in Temante of his continued support.
The widows received the items with joy and expressed their appreciation for the kindness shown to them.
The event ended with a prayer led by Rev. Gyasi-Nimako for all those present.
