The Methodist Church Ghana has elected Very Rev. Prof. Johnson Asamoah-Gyadu as the new Presiding Bishop during the 51st and 13th Biennial Conference in Kumasi. He won the election with 226 votes, succeeding the outgoing Most Rev. Paul K. Boafo.
