Parliament of Ghana, under the leadership of Rt. Hon. Alban Sumana Kingsford Bagbin, will officially launch the second edition of the Democracy Cup on Thursday, 24th July 2025 at Parliament House in Accra.
The Democracy Cup, a unique initiative by Parliament, seeks to strengthen Ghana’s democratic culture by using football as a tool for civic engagement, national unity, and youth involvement. The ceremony will feature the Speaker of Parliament, Rt. Hon. Alban Bagbin, along with other parliamentary leaders, sports officials, and members of civil society.
