Hon. George Opare Addo, the Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, has indicated that the National Apprenticeship Programme (NAP) has received 115,009 applications.
According to Hon. Opare Addo, the breakdown of applications received for the National Apprenticeship Programme is as follows:
A total of 115,009 individuals have applied.
95,819 are trainees, and 19,190 are trainers.
57,897 applications were submitted online.
Hon. Opare Addo also stated that, of the applications submitted online, 18,571 were from males, 39,326 from females, and 730 from youth with disabilities.
The Minister added that training for the first batch of trainees is expected to begin on 12th August 2025.
