The Ministry of Education, on Thursday, November 28, 2025, inaugurated an 11-member Ministerial Advisory Board aimed at strengthening policy formulation, enhancing governance, and providing strategic oversight for the Ministry’s ongoing reforms and initiatives.
The swearing-in ceremony was officiated by Mrs. Grace Ewoal, Chief State Attorney at the Office of the Attorney General and Ministry of Justice. She urged members to uphold the highest standards of integrity, transparency, and professionalism in the discharge of their duties.
The Board is chaired by the Minister for Education, Honourable Haruna Iddrisu, who emphasized the importance of collective expertise in driving transformative educational outcomes.
The members of the Board bring together diverse experience across academia, public administration, legal affairs, and educational management. Their combined knowledge is expected to support the Ministry in addressing emerging challenges, particularly in areas such as digital learning expansion, teacher welfare, curriculum development, and school infrastructure improvement.
