The 2024 Otumfuo Community Reading Challenge (OCRC) has progressed to its final stage, highlighting five outstanding communities. These top communities are set to compete in the grand finale at the prestigious Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
The top five communities, along with their representatives, are as follows:
- Feyiase (Bosomtwe District) – represented by Maame T. A. Baffour
- Effiduase (Sekyere East District) – represented by Loretta B. Acheampong
- Boamang (Afigya Kwabre North) – represented by Francis Osei Boamah
- Twedie (Atwima Kwanwoma District) – represented by Akua Amankwaa
- Mankranso (Ahafo-Ano South West) – represented by Salamatu Issah
As these communities prepare for the final competition, the event will be graced by the distinguished presence of His Majesty Otumfuo Osei Tutu II. At the Manhyia Palace, there will be a fitting setting for this climactic showdown in the Asante Twi and English Language reading challenge.
