Mr. Beautiful Appointed to Governing Board of Ghana Creative Arts Agency

Popular Ghanaian actor Clement Bonney, commonly known as Mr Beautiful, has officially been appointed by President Mahama has appointed Mr. Beautiful as a member of the newly constituted Governing Board of Ghana’s Creative Arts Agency.

The Board features a diverse mix of professionals from the creative industry, including opera singer and former journalist Kokui Selormey, as well as seasoned actress Akorfa Edjeani Asiedu.

Photos shared on social media captured Mr. Beautiful and other board members alongside the Minister for Tourism, Culture, and Creative Arts, Hon. Abla Dzifa Gomashie.

Mr. Beautiful’s appointment has received positive reactions, especially from those in the creative arts sector. The Board is expected to drive key policies and support structures that will shape the future of the creative arts industry in Ghana.

It is important to note that under the Creative Arts Industry Act, 2020 (Act 1048), the Creative Arts Agency was established with the mandate to provide an institutional framework for the development and regulation of Ghana’s arts sector.
