The National Identification Authority (NIA) has officially invited applications from qualified and interested individuals to support its upcoming mass registration exercise for children aged 6 to 14 years across Ghana.

This nationwide exercise forms part of the government’s broader effort to strengthen Ghana’s national identification system by capturing the personal data of eligible children onto the National Identity Register. The initiative is expected to expand the national database and ensure that more Ghanaian children are officially registered within the country’s identification framework.

According to the NIA, the recruitment is intended to support operational activities during the registration exercise in various districts across the country. Individuals who meet the requirements are encouraged to apply and contribute to this important national assignment.

Available Positions to Apply For

Applicants can apply for any of the following temporary roles:

  • Technical Support Officer (Technician)
  • Commissioner for Oath (CFO)
  • Card Verification Officer (CVO)
  • Mobile Registration Workstation Operator (MRWO)
  • Registration Officer (RO)

It is important to note that all positions are temporary contract roles specifically designed to support the nationwide child registration exercise.
