Minister for the Interior, Hon. Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, has welcomed the new Inspector General of Police, IGP Christian Tetteh Yohuno to his office in Accra.
The Inspector General of Police (IGP), Mr. Christian Tetteh Yohuno visited the Hon. Minister to formally introduce himself to him. The IGP was visited the Minister in his office on Monday, 17th March, 2025 together with his deputies.
Mr. Yohuno assured the Hon. Minister of his commitment to collaboration, aiming to make the Police Service one of the best in the region.
In response, Hon. Muntaka congratulated Mr. Yohuno on his new role and pledged his support for a successful tenure.
The Hon. Minister also tasked the IGP to improve professionalism in the Service.
