Former Member of Parliament for Dome-Kwabenya, Sarah Adwoa Safo, has expressed surprise over the New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) decision to suspend her appearance before its disciplinary committee, claiming she was not officially informed.
I only got to know through media reports that today’s meeting had been suspended. As of now, I have not received any formal communication from the party regarding this change.

She continued:
If the meeting was indeed suspended, I believe the respectful and proper thing would have been to notify me officially.

The former Gender Minister was expected to appear before the committee today over issues related to her conduct and standing within the party.
However, the hearing was reportedly postponed by the party leadership.
Meanwhile, Adwoa Safo has said:
I remain committed to engaging the party through the right channels and am ready to respond when formally invited.
But I cannot respond to meetings I am not officially made aware of.
