The Ghana Education Service (GES) has cautioned the public to ignore a fraudulent recruitment notice circulating on social media, describing it as false and potentially harmful.
The fake notice claims GES is accepting applications from diploma and degree holders, including individuals with deferred results. It also includes a contact number and falsely promises placements on the government payroll.

GES, in a statement issued on Tuesday, discredited the information and advised job seekers not to engage with unverified recruitment messages. “We entreat the general public to disregard this information and avoid falling prey to such scams,” it stated.
The Service emphasized that all genuine recruitment processes are announced only through official GES channels, including its website and verified social media handles.
It further urged individuals to report suspicious activity and avoid sharing personal details with unknown contacts.
