The Ghana Education Service (GES) is set to roll out Year Two subject-specific Professional Learning Community (PLC) Handbooks for the Senior High School (SHS) curriculum.
In a letter released by the Management of GES, PLC Coordinators from all SHSs are to be trained on the Year Two subject-specific PLC.
The letter indicated that the Year Two PLC Handbooks will help teachers develop learning plans and address challenging topics, assessment, differentiation, and digital literacy issues under the new SHS curriculum.
Facilitators for the training, as well as the training dates, were outlined as follows:

Criteria for the selection of PLC Coordinators for the Year Two PLC Handbook training include:
- Each school should nominate a maximum of five facilitators, including one teacher each dedicated to Mathematics and English intervention in Year One.
- All nominated teachers must be teaching in Year One and Year Two.
- Participants are required to bring a laptop.
- Selected participants must possess the skills to lead PLC sessions.
