The programme was held on Tuesday, April 8, 2025, at the Great Hall, University of Ghana.
The event was attended by key personalities, including the Vice-Chancellor of the University of Ghana, Professor Nana Aba Appiah Amfo; Regional Directors of the Ghana Education Service; Mrs. Rhoda Enchil, Programme Officer, UNICEF Ghana; Prof. (Mrs.) Smile Gavua Dzisi; GES Deputy Director General – Management Services, and Cassandra Twum Ampofo, Head of Public Relations, GES, among others.

The launch of Phase II of the Africa Educates Her (AEH) Campaign was held under the theme “Unlocking Girls’ Potential – STEM and Beyond.”
The programme aims to empower girls, especially those at the pre-tertiary level of education, to bridge the gap—particularly the barriers that prevent them from attaining higher education—and to encourage them to pursue STEM programmes and advance further in academia.
The initiative is sponsored by T-TEL Ghana, CAMFED, AASU, among others.
