In a letter dated Thursday, 12th June 2025, and signed by the Chairperson of the Commission, Mrs. Jean Mensa, the EC announced that the Ministry of Finance had disbursed the required funds earlier that day.

The Commission expressed gratitude for the patience and understanding of all affected staff, acknowledging the vital role they played during national assignments.

“We are working round the clock to ensure that payments are made promptly,” Mrs. Mensa assured.

According to the Commission, all temporary staff should expect to receive their allowances on or before Friday, 20th June 2025.

The EC’s message was not only informative but also conveyed a sense of empathy and responsibility, as it recognised the importance of timely compensation in supporting the welfare and morale of its staff.
