A commemorative service was held on Thursday, 5th June 2025, at the Ebenezer Congregation in Kumawu. The service brought together students, parents, educators, and members of the Presbyterian Church to seek divine guidance and strength ahead of the upcoming Basic Education Certificate Examination.
The solemn yet inspiring event was led by Rev. Peter Omane Atuahene, the District Minister, who delivered a compelling message centered on faith, diligence, and the power of prayer. In his address, Rev. Peter O. Atuahene encouraged students to remain focused, trust in God, and believe in their abilitieS and emphasized that academic success is a combination of hard work and divine favor.
According to the Minister, Special prayers were offered for all candidates preparing to sit for their exams. The congregation lifted their voices in unity, asking for wisdom, clarity of mind, and peace during this critical academic period. Teachers and parents also received prayers, recognizing their vital roles in guiding and supporting the youth.
The Rev Minister reiterated that the atmosphere was filled with hope, reverence, and communal strength, as the Ebenezer Congregation reaffirmed its commitment to nurturing not only the spiritual lives but also the academic futures of its younger generation.
According to him, the service stood as a powerful reminder of the role of faith in education and the community’s shared belief that with God, all things are possible.
