The New Patriotic Party (NPP) is pleased to inform the general public that the Party’s 2024 Presidential Candidate, His Excellency Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, will file his presidential nomination on Monday, September 9, 2024. This event is set to take place at the headquarters of the Electoral Commission (EC) in Accra.
Dr. Bawumia, who is also the Vice President of Ghana, will be accompanied by his running mate, Hon. Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the Party’s Vice Presidential Candidate for the 2024 election. The entourage will also include the NPP’s National Chairman, General Secretary, the Majority Leader in Parliament, and several other senior Party leaders.

Following the filing of the nomination, reports suggest that Dr. Bawumia, together with Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, will address Party members, sympathizers, and the general public at the NPP’s National Headquarters.
