The Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) has issued a press statement to Ghana Education Service (GES) staff regarding a new date for the payment of the Continuous Professional Development (CPDA) and Complimentary Data (CIDSA) Allowances.
According to the statement, the two allowances could not be paid to GES staff in November due to technical hitches.
The letter assured GES staff to remain calm, noting that CAGD management is putting measures in place to ensure the payment of these key allowances on December 18.
GES staff and GES Union leaders have expressed their disappointment across various platforms regarding CAGD’s failure to pay the allowances as agreed in the Collective Agreement.
