The National Executive Council (NEC) of the Civil and Local Government Staff Association, Ghana (CLOGSAG), has directed its members to suspend their strike action with immediate effect.
This statement was issued by CLOGSAG on Friday, March 28, 2025.
According to the press release, the NEC of CLOGSAG held an emergency meeting on March 28, 2025, and decided to suspend the ongoing strike action by staff of the Civil Service and Local Government Service.
The letter emphasized that this decision is intended to allow the parties to continue engagements toward resolving the impasse.
In this regard, CLOGSAG urges staff of the Civil Service and Local Government Service to resume work on Wednesday, April 2, 2025, the letter stated.
