President Mahama Appoints Paul Adjei as GETFund Administrator

H.E. John Dramani Mahama, President of the Republic of Ghana, has appointed Mr. Paul Adjei as the Administrator of the Ghana Education Trust Fund (GETFund). His appointment is expected to strengthen the fund’s operations and improve educational infrastructure across the country.

Mr. Adjei has an extensive experience in development finance, having worked on projects funded by the World Bank, African Development Bank, DANIDA, and the European Commission in Ghana. His expertise in managing donor-funded projects is anticipated to enhance GETFund’s efficiency and impact.

He holds a Master’s degree in Public Administration from the University of Bergen, Norway, and has received postgraduate training in procurement from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).

President Mahama has extended his congratulations to Mr. Adjei, expressing confidence in his ability to deliver on his mandate. He wished him success in ensuring the effective allocation of resources to support Ghana’s educational sector.
