Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), met with traders, artisans, and other residents of Kumasi in the Ashanti region on Tuesday, the 11th of June, 2024, at Kumasi Central Market.
Addressing the vibrant gathering, Dr. Bawumia expressed that the experience of meeting the traders, artisans, the youth, and the residents of the Ashanti Region was truly electrifying. He noted that their massive turnout reaffirmed their strong belief in him and the NPP’s vision for Ghana’s future.
Dr. Bawumia assured the audience of his commitment to their welfare and outlined his vision for the various groups present, including individuals from diverse disciplines and even those who are currently unemployed. He emphasized that the Ashanti Region has always been a pillar of strength, known for its diverse opinions and vibrant culture. This diversity was evident as he interacted with artisans at Suame, traders at the Central Market, engaged with the citizenry at Asafo, and connected deeply with the youth at the Kumasi Jubilee Park.
According to sources, Dr. Bawumia emphasized his confidence that the people of Ashanti will wholeheartedly support his vision and vote for him in the upcoming elections. “Indeed, it is possible,” stated Bawumia, with a firm conviction in his voice.
During his interaction with the various groups, Dr. Bawumia listened attentively to their concerns and aspirations. He assured them that their voices matter and that his administration will be dedicated to addressing their needs and improving their livelihoods.
