The Sekyere Kumawu Education Directorate is set to commence Mock Examinations for the 2024 BECE Candidates. This Mock Exams is scheduled to start fromTuesday, 4th June 2024 to Monday, 10th June 2024.
As part of preparing and building the 2024 BECE candidates, the Sekyere Kumawu Education Office, through sponsorship from the Honourable Member of Parliament for Kumawu Constituency, Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim, has collaborated to organize this Mock Examination for the candidates. This initiative aims to provide the students with a comprehensive understanding of the exam format and identify areas where they need further improvement.
To ensure the smooth conduct of the Mock Exams, the distribution team, comprising Mr. Jacob Nti Danso (HOD Monitoring and Supervision), Mr. Essilfie Kobina Aidoo (District Stats Officer) and the Exams Officer from the Sekyere Kumawu Education Directorate has distributed all necessary items (questions, answer sheets, marking schemes, etc.) to all the schools. This preparatory step is crucial in making certain that the examination process is standardized and that all students have equal access to the required materials.
The candidates have been advised to put in their best efforts and excel in these Mock Exams, as they serve as a preparatory examination for the Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) in July 2024. This Mock Examination is an opportunity for students to assess their readiness, manage their time effectively, and gain confidence in tackling the final exams.
Teachers and Head teachers have been entreated to ensure that there are no leaks of questions during the period. Maintaining the integrity of the examination process is paramount, and all schools are required to adhere strictly to the rules and regulations governing examinations. This includes ensuring that all examination protocols are followed, invigilators are vigilant, and any form of malpractice is promptly addressed.
The Directorate acknowledges the invaluable support of Hon. Ernest Yaw Anim. His sponsorship has made it possible to organize these Mock Exams, reflecting his commitment to the educational development of the Kumawu Constituency.
As part of the broader preparation, various stakeholders, including parents, are encouraged to support the students during this period. Providing a conducive environment for study, offering moral support, and ensuring that the students have all the necessary resources can significantly enhance their performance.
The Sekyere Kumawu Education Directorate wishes all the candidates good luck in their Mock Exams. The Directorate remains committed to supporting the students and ensuring that they are well-prepared to face their final exams confidently.
