NDC Trains the Upper East and North East Regional Communication Team

The National Communication Team of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) convened an important training workshop on Sunday, March 17, 2024, aiming to fortify the Upper East and North East Regional Communication Teams. The workshop was hosted in Bolgatanga and Nalerigu respectively, this strategic gathering marked a crucial milestone in preparing for the impending 2024 general elections.

At the helm of the training sessions stood Sammy Gyamfi (Esq), who is the National Communication Officer of NDC and the leading member of National Communication Team. Gyamfi’s adept leadership was evident as he delivered compelling presentations, delving into key areas imperative for the regional communication teams to concentrate on as the electoral contest loomed ahead.

Emphasizing the significance of the training, Gyamfi ensured that attendees were furnished with the requisite knowledge and skills vital for the effective dissemination of the NDC’s messages leading up to the 2024 general elections. His commitment to empowering the party’s communicators underscored the NDC’s dedication to fostering a robust communication infrastructure.

As a significant gesture, Gyamfi announced the provision of essential resources to aid the regional communication teams in their endeavors. Reflecting on the previous initiative in the Bono region, each of the twenty-one (21) Constituency Communication Officers in the Upper East and North East regions received a brand new motorcycle. Additionally, two (2) brand new laptops were allocated for each region. These provisions were envisioned to augment the mobility and connectivity of the communication officers, thus enhancing the dissemination of the party’s messages on the ground.

A Message of Appreciation to the Presenters and the Teams

Expressions of gratitude resounded towards individuals who contributed significantly to the success of the training workshop. Notable figures such as the MP for Tamale South, Hon. Haruna Iddrissu, MP for Bolgatanga Central, Hon. Isaac Adongo, and MP for Pusiga, Hon. Laadi Ayii Ayamba, were acknowledged for their unwavering support and insightful contributions. The commendations extended to stalwart party members including Comrade Felix Ofosu Kwakye, Comrade Godwin Edudzi Tamakloe, Comrade Malik Basintale, Comrade Ako Gunn, Comrade Beatrice Annangfio, and Comrade Brogya Genfi, along with all other Resource Persons, for their invaluable presentations.

Above all, profound appreciation was expressed towards the leader of the party, H.E John Dramani Mahama, the revered flag-bearer and prospective President of the Republic of Ghana. Mahama’s unwavering support and guidance served as a cornerstone for the Communications Bureau and the party as a whole, embodying a source of inspiration and strength, he added.

The training workshop epitomized the NDC’s relentless commitment to fostering effective communication strategies and empowering its members. With a steadfast eye on the 2024 general elections, the party’s concerted efforts aimed to disseminate its message and also to fortify its grassroots infrastructure, ensuring a formidable presence in the political landscape of Ghana.
