The Ghana Education Service (GES) has issued an urgent directive to Regional Directors to ensure that all designated salary validators are adequately informed and prepared to validate salaries ahead of the payment deadline of Friday, October 16, 2026.

An official letter dated October 9, 2026, and signed by Prof. Smile Dzisi (Mrs.), Deputy Director-General (Management Services), on behalf of the Director-General, has urged validators for prompt action to prevent delays in the salary validation process.

According to the letter, GES Management has requested all Regional Directors to ensure that designated validators within their respective jurisdictions are ready to undertake the validation exercise as soon as the validation window opens.

The validation process will soon begin as we wait for the Controller and Accountant-General’s Department (CAGD) for the opening of the salary validation window.
