Government Communications has reminded the public that Saturday, October 3, 2026, is National Sanitation Day in Ghana.
The public is being encouraged to take steps to clean their homes and communities between 6:00 a.m. and 12:00 noon.
The October 2026 exercise will also serve as Ghana’s national commemoration of World Cleanup Day 2026. The Ministry of Local Government, Chieftaincy and Religious Affairs has called on communities and stakeholders across the country to participate.
