Road Contruction to Begin from Agogo to Maame Krobo – Ashanti Regional Minister

Hon. Dr. Frank Amoakohene, the Ashanti Regional Minister, has announced that the Agogo to Maame Krobo Road has officially been handed over for construction.

According to the Ashanti Regional Minister, the 124km road corridor will strategically connect the eastern part of the Ashanti Region to the Eastern Region of Ghana, improving mobility, strengthening trade, and opening up new opportunities for agriculture, tourism, and local business growth along the route.

The District Chief Executive (DCE), Hon Sarah Amoakoaa and the Member of Parliament, Hon OK Frimpong, joined the Department of Feeder Roads for this historic handover and commencement process on behalf of the Ashanti Regional Minister.

In a statement shared by Minister, he emphasized that this is a major step forward in our commitment to deliver critical infrastructure that drives development and progress.

We will continue to work diligently to ensure the project progresses smoothly and is completed as quick as possible.
