MMDCEs to support newly posted Doctors

The Ministry of Health has urged Metropolitan, Municipal, and District Chief Executives (MMDCEs) to support newly posted doctors in their jurisdictions.

According to the statement, doctors have been posted to these areas because their services are most needed there. The statement further reminded doctors to kindly accept the postings and not to view them as punitive assignments.

The letter emphasized that MMDCEs are encouraged to support these newly posted doctors with accommodations, transportation, and other social amenities as incentives to retain them.

The letter also stressed that there will be no changes to the postings that have been made.
