Christopher Amoasi (Esq.) has been called to the Ghana Bar. The ceremony was held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at the Accra International Conference Centre.

Christopher Amoasi revealed that his passion for pursuing law began during his undergraduate studies in Management and Economics, specifically in a Level 400 Company Law class in 2018. He recounted that his lecturer, Lawyer Michael Arthur-Dadzie — former CEO of the Fisheries Commission and Parliamentary Candidate for the New Patriotic Party in the 2016 general elections — once said something that has echoed in his mind ever since: “If you have a heart for justice and the will to serve, pursue the law.”

“That day, something in me stirred. I had always admired the nobility of the legal profession, but hearing those words transformed admiration into conviction,” Christopher Amoasi emphasized.

A total of 824 newly qualified lawyers were called to the Ghana Bar. Among them were notable personalities such as Serwaa Amihere of the EIB Network, Emmanuel Ebo Hawkson of Graphic Online, Joseph Ackah-Blay of Media General, Sixtus Don-Ullo of News, Barima Takyi Prosper – GNAT Chairman for Ashanti Region, among others. Their call to the Bar highlights a growing intersection between law and journalism in shaping national discourse and upholding justice.

The event was spearheaded by the Acting Chief Justice, His Lordship Paul Baffoe-Bonnie, who administered the professional oath and presented qualifying certificates to the new lawyers.

Supreme Court Justice Avril Lovelace-Johnson, Attorney-General Dr. Dominic Ayine, Deputy Attorney-General Dr. Justice Srem-Sai, Director of Legal Education Prof. Raymond Atuguba, and Ghana Bar Association President Efua Ghartey graced the event and participated in the presentation of certificates.

Family members, friends, and well-wishers gathered at the occasion to witness their loved ones achieve this remarkable milestone.
