Under the government initiative programme dubbed the Government Accountability Series, Hon. George Opare Addo, Minister for Youth Development and Empowerment, has stated that the Government of Ghana, through the Ministry of Finance, has allocated GHS 110 million for the Adwumawura Programme.
Hon. Opare Addo revealed at the event that up to 55,000 applications have been received under the Adwumawura Programme. He indicated that these applicants will be processed to access the GHS 110 million allocated for the programme.
He further stated that the Ministry for Youth Development and Empowerment is committed to ensuring that all the support needed by these applicants is provided to ensure the programme thrives.
“The Ministry anticipates receiving more applications before the end of the year,” stated Hon. Opare Addo.
