“Daughters of Glorious Jesus” Shine at TGMA 2025

At the just ended 2025 Telecel Ghana Music Awards (TGMA), Daughters of Glorious Jesus Cynthia Appiadu, Edna Sarpong, and Monica Owusu Ansah made a graceful and elegant appearance that won the admiration of many.

The iconic gospel group who are known for their powerful vocals and spiritual influence used the moment to reiterate their core mission of  soul winning over awards. In a recent interview, they revealed they have never submitted songs for award consideration even though they’ve attended ceremonies when nominated. “Our goal is to win souls for Christ through music not to chase awards,” they stated.  Their ministry has had profound impact over the years. One of their songs, “Nea Yehu Yi,” has been credited with miraculous interventions including a testimony of a man who was pronounced dead but was reportedly revived while the song played.

Celebrating over three decades in gospel music, the trio continues to inspire generations with their timeless harmonies. Their recent “Glorious Praise 2025” tour, ‘themed The Golgotha Experience’, took place in Accra, Kwahu, and Kumasi. The events were not only about worship and music but also included charitable acts like supporting women at Nsawam Prisons.

Their shining moment at TGMA 2025 wasn’t just about fashion or performance but also a statement of purpose. Daughters of Glorious Jesus remain devoted to transforming lives and glorifying God through every platform they touch.
