Youth Employment Agency signs MoU with National Insurance Commssion

The The Youth Employment Agency (YEA), led by CEO Malik Basintale, has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Insurance Commission to train and deploy 500 youth as certified insurance agents through the Ghana Insurance College.

Dr. Abiba Zakaria, Commissioner of Insurance, signed the MoU on behalf of the National Insurance Commission, thereby committing the Commission to the partnership.

In a brief address, Dr. Zakaria indicated that the initiative aims to boost and enforce compliance with compulsory insurance policies in Ghana.

Mr. Basintale, CEO of YEA, expressed appreciation to the National Insurance Commission. He emphasized that the MoU is expected to create more employment opportunities for young Ghanaians.
