The Annual Football Gala Competition organized by Honourable Maxwell Doffour is back again! This exciting event brings the various areas in Woraso communities together for friendly football matches, fun, and togetherness. This year’s event will take place at the Woraso Community Park starting on 27th December, 2024 and shall end with a grand finale on 1st January, 2025. Teams from the various areas within the community such as Kasafidie, Abekesease, Asikafo Amantem, and Odumase will compete to showcase their talent and resilience to bring pride to their communities. The competition is not just about football but it is also about fostering unity, strengthening bonds, and having a great time as one big community. The best performing team will be rewarded with cash prizes, new footballs, and jerseys to celebrate their hard work and success.
Adding to the excitement, the event will host distinguished guests, including Honourable Ernest Yaw Anim, (MP for Sekyere Kumawu), Honourable Samuel Addai Agyekum, (District Chief Executive), Honourable Maxwell Doffour, the visionary behind the event, and the Chief and Elders of Woraso Community who will grace the occasion with their presence. All individuals in the community are entreated to register their presence which shall collectively highlight the peace enjoyed before, during and after the 2024 general elections.
