Soko is recognized as one of the hard-to-reach communities in the Afigya Kwabre North District. This initiative aims to provide essential educational resources and training to children in the area, addressing the challenges of limited access to quality education.

According to reports, the project will feature an eight-week training program that encompasses both academic activities and cinematography. Participants will engage in intensive lessons focused on Information and Communication Technology (ICT) and English reading, which are crucial skills for their personal and academic development.

The program includes a two-week stay in the community, during which the team will assist the children in reading English books and providing practical ICT lessons. Additionally, mobile cinema vans will be utilized to showcase best practices in cocoa farming and to promote Asante cultural heritage, specifically aimed at cocoa farmers in the area.

The goal of the project is to enhance the literacy rates of students in ICT and English reading. Again, qualified personnel from AgroEcom will offer advice to farmers on best farming practices to improve crop production.

It is also important to note that the team will extend its reach to other communities, including Kyekyewere, Tetrem, and Akrofonso, as a way of maximizing the project’s impact across the region.
