The Ministry of Foreign Affairs Announces Scholarships for Training and Tertiary Education

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Regional Integration has announced new opportunities for Ghanaians to benefit from scholarships in capacity-building training programmes and tertiary education.

In a statement issued in Accra on 30th September 2025, the Ministry explained that the scholarships have been secured through Ghana’s diplomatic engagements with partner countries. The initiative is designed to open doors for qualified citizens to pursue studies in diverse fields, strengthening both individual careers and national development.

According to the Ministry, details of the available programmes have been uploaded on its official website, https://mfa.gov.gh, to make the process accessible to all interested applicants. The Ghana Scholarships Secretariat will also facilitate the awards, ensuring that deserving candidates benefit from opportunities provided by Ghana’s international partners.

The Ministry encouraged Ghanaians to rely solely on official sources when applying and advised against using intermediaries. Applicants are urged to either apply directly online or contact the Scholarships Secretariat for guidance.

Reassuring the public of its commitment, the Ministry stated:
“These scholarships represent more than just academic opportunities—they are an investment in the future of Ghana’s young people and the country as a whole.”
