The Susan Oforiwaa Koduah Organisation ( SOKO), led by the founder Dr Susan Oforiwaa Koduah paid a routine visit to Kumasi Children’s Home on Saturday 5th July,2025 following her generous donation last Monday of a modern ICT laboratory to her alma mater, Kumasi Girls’ SHS with initiative that strengthened her bond with the Kumasi Girls SHS.
A joyful crowd of children and friends of Dr Susan Koduah gathered as they lend color and warmth to the occasion. After a brief but inspiring talk, she engaged the children in a creative career workshop. They were asked to imagine their future professions and illustrate them individually on a vision board which sparked both hope and smiles.
Dr Susan Koduah sat down with the children and shared a meals with them as the room was filled with laughter.
The children had the privilege of taking photographs with Dr Koduah in front of the Maama Foriwaa House as it captured moments of admiration and joy.
Dr Susan Koduah, an award winning oncology nursing scholar and proud Kumasi Girls’ SHS alumna, continues to champion education and youth welfare. Her twin acts of equipping the ICT lab and leadingthe organization as the founder to visit the children’s home emphasized a deeper commitment of empowering young minds in the Ashanti region.
The organization, led by Dr. Susan Koduah’s generosity has become a powerful statement investing in resources and relationships. In her speech, Dr Koduah emphasized that occasion is not only to uplift individual spirits, but rather to shed light on future possibilities of the next generation.
