Step-by-Step Guide
- Selecting Schools
Candidates have the option to select a total of eleven (11) preferred schools. These are divided into two sets: the first set comprises six (6) schools, while the second set includes five (5) schools, known as Cluster schools. - School Categories
Schools are grouped into four main categories, and candidates must carefully choose their schools based on these groupings:- Category A: Candidates can select not more than one (1) school from this category.
- Category B: Candidates can choose up to two (2) schools from this category.
- Category C: A maximum of five (5) schools can be selected from this category.
- Compulsory Day School or Special Boarding School: The sixth choice for the first set of schools must be a compulsory day school or a special boarding school.
- Specialized Program Selection
- If a candidate wishes to pursue a technical or vocational program, they have the option to select all six schools from the Technical and Vocational Education and Training (TVET) category.
- Candidates interested in Pure Science programs can opt to select all their choices from Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) schools.
- Restrictions on School Repetition
Candidates are not allowed to repeat any of the schools chosen in the first set of six schools in the second set of Cluster schools. - Residential Status and Program Choice
For each selected school, candidates must also choose the residential status (boarding or day) and the specific program they wish to pursue.
