Solomon Ofosu-Ware has been elected the new National Supporters’ Chairman of Asante Kotoko SC after securing an emphatic 81% of the total votes cast. His overwhelming victory signals a fresh wave of energy and optimism for the Porcupine Warriors’ vast fan base.
The highly anticipated elections, powered by Voteezy, witnessed strong participation as 3,782 supporters out of 9,604 eligible voters exercised their franchise. Ofosu-Ware polled an impressive 3,055 votes, leaving his closest rival, Benjamin Obeng Serekyere, with 727 votes, representing just 19%.
Supporters described the outcome as a show of confidence in Ofosu-Ware’s leadership qualities and vision for the club’s future. His campaign focused on uniting the fan base, strengthening grassroots mobilisation, and ensuring a stronger connection between the supporters and the team.
