Ghanaian dancehall artiste, Shatta Wale has issued a stern warning to Dr. Osei Kwame Despite over threats that his media crew on United Showbiz which airs on Despite owned platforms like UTV and Peace FM should dare mention his name in connection with the Kofi Boat FBI case. Speaking in a heated TikTok Live session on June 20, 2025, the SM Boss said any such reference will prompt him to “reveal things about Despite that would land both of us in trouble with the FBI.”
Shatta Wale stepped in to defend Medikal after controversial media commentary surfaced regarding Medikal’s altercation with a student at the University of Ghana. He blamed Despite Media’s staff and pundits like MC Yaa Yeboah on Neat FM and UTV for fueling negativity and compared their influence to earlier damage inflicted on highlife singer Bisa Kdei.
Shatta made it clear that he respects Dr. Despite as a role model but warned that if his name is repeatedly “mentioned on Peace FM or UTV,” he’ll escalate the situation with an FBI level exposé .
