Shatta Wale Donates to Black Stars for 2026 World Cup image

Charles Nii Armah Mensah, popularly known as Shatta Wale, has donated $100,000 to the Black Stars’ 2026 World Cup Fundraising Campaign.

The donation was made during the official launch of the 2026 World Cup Fundraising Campaign, held in Accra at the Kempinski Hotel Gold Coast City Accra on Friday, March 20, 2026.

The donation was gladly received by the Committee. Kurt Okraku, President of the Ghana Football Association, and Hon. Thomas Nyarko Ampem, Chairman of the Committee, expressed their sincere appreciation to Shatta Wale for his generosity and support.

The Committee further appealed to all well-wishers, private organizations, and individuals to support the Ghana Black Stars as they prepare for the 2026 FIFA World Cup, which will be hosted by United States, Canada, and Mexico.
