President John Dramani Mahama will on Monday, May 5, unveil a comprehensive Code of Conduct for all government appointees, as part of his administration’s commitment to promoting integrity, discipline, and accountability in public service.
The document, which will be officially launched at the Jubilee House, is expected to provide clear ethical guidelines for ministers, heads of agencies, and other public officials. It aims to ensure that all government personnel adhere to the highest standards of professionalism and conduct.

According to the Office of the President, the Code will address issues such as conflict of interest, abuse of office, transparency, and responsible use of public resources. It is also expected to spell out sanctions for breaches, reinforcing President Mahama’s stance on zero tolerance for corruption and misconduct.
The initiative forms part of broader reforms by the Mahama administration to build a clean and efficient government in line with the Reset Ghana Agenda and the 24-hour economy vision.
