President John Dramani Mahama has reaffirmed his commitment to the completion of all ongoing infrastructure projects in the Ashanti Region, promising not to abandon any initiative regardless of who initiated it.
Speaking during a working visit to the region, President Mahama emphasized the importance of continuity in governance, especially regarding development projects that directly impact the lives of Ghanaians. He made specific reference to the Suame Interchange, assuring residents that the project will be seen through to completion under his administration.
“Irrespective of who started it, we shall continue and complete it,” the President declared, receiving applause from community members and stakeholders present.
President Mahama outlined his broader infrastructure agenda, which includes improving road networks, completing health and educational facilities, and upgrading market structures across the country. He noted that development must be driven by national interest, not partisanship.
He further encouraged unity and support from local leaders, urging them to prioritize community needs and collaborate with government for smooth execution of ongoing works.
