President Mahama Appoints Matilda Asante-Asiedu as Deputy Governor of Bank of Ghana

Matilda Asante-Asiedu

H.E. John Dramani Mahama, the President of Ghana, in accordance with Section 17 of the Bank of Ghana Act, 2002 (Act 612), as amended, has appointed Mrs. Matilda Asante-Asiedu as the Deputy Governor of the Bank of Ghana.

Mrs. Asante-Asiedu is a Chartered Banker and a seasoned corporate leader who has served as Group Head of Retail Banking at Access Bank Ghana PLC.

She holds an MBA in Marketing from GIMPA Business School (2021) and an MA in Journalism Studies from Cardiff University (2005). She is also an Executive Banker (CIB-Ghana, 2024).

Mrs. Asante-Asiedu is expected to use her experience to advance the administrative operations of the Bank of Ghana.
