The National Council of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has inaugurated two key committees ahead of the 2026 Presidential Primaries.
The two committees inaugurated are the Vetting Committee and the Elections Committee.
Reports indicate that these committees have been tasked by the National Council of the NPP to oversee the conduct of the party’s presidential primaries, scheduled for January 31, 2026.
The Vetting Committee is chaired by Hon. Dr. Kwame Addo-Kufuor, while the Elections Committee is chaired by Hon. Joseph Osei-Owusu.
The NPP National Council expressed confidence in the committees’ ability to deliver a free, fair, and transparent election process.
The Council urged all stakeholders, delegates, and party faithful to cooperate with the committees to ensure the success of this crucial exercise.
