The New Patriotic Party (NPP) launched its 2024 Manifesto on Sunday, August 18, 2024. The event took place at the Ghana Secondary Technical School (GSTS) in Takoradi. The launch, themed “To Serve is to Lead and Solve,” was a momentous occasion, attended by key figures from both the party and the government.
The ceremony was honored by the presence of several prominent leaders, including His Excellency Nana Akufo-Addo, the President of the Republic of Ghana; His Excellency Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia, the Vice President of Ghana and the NPP’s Presidential candidate for the upcoming election; and Dr. Matthew Opoku Prempeh, the running mate to Dr. Bawumia. Also present were Mr. Stephen Ayensu Ntim, the National Chairman of the NPP; Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, the Minister for Works and Housing; and Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor, the Minister for Land and Natural Resources. The event was further graced by NPP National Executives, members of the NPP 2024 Manifesto Launch Committee, Members of Parliament affiliated with the NPP, as well as dedicated supporters and party faithful.
During the launch, various addresses were delivered, offering insights into the party’s achievements and future plans. Among the notable speakers were Hon. Kojo Oppong Nkrumah, who outlined the party’s infrastructural and housing achievements; Hon. Samuel A. Jinapor, who highlighted progress in land and natural resource management; and Mr. Stephen Ayensu Ntim, who provided a comprehensive overview of the party’s organizational and strategic advancements.
The NPP used this opportunity not only to present their manifesto but also to reflect on their accomplishments over the past seven years. The party’s track record was emphasized, showcasing various development projects and policy initiatives that have shaped Ghana’s socio-economic landscape. This reflection aimed to reinforce the party’s commitment to continued progress and innovation.
Additionally, the manifesto launch served as a platform for the NPP to articulate its vision for the 2024 general elections.
