Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia the flagbearer of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) has made a heartfelt appeal to party members to avoid blaming each other following the party’s recent electoral loss. Addressing hundreds of supporters who visited his residence to express their solidarity, Dr. Bawumia emphasized the need for healing, introspection, and unity as the party looks ahead to the future.
“This is not the time for blame games or accusations,” Dr. Bawumia remarked. “It is not the time to fight among ourselves but we must rather focus on healing, reflecting on our actions, and uniting for a greater cause and he further reiterated that unity is the key to achieving their goals.”
He commended the dedication and efforts of the party’s rank and file across the country by expressing deep appreciation for the immense support he received before, during, and after the elections. Dr Bawumia highlighted on the messages of encouragement and solidarity all members of the party has shown him. He again charged the party members to keep the faith, stay strong, and remain united. Together, we will come back stronger.”
Dr. Bawumia emphasized that the party’s success in future endeavors depends on collective action and mutual support. He urged members to set aside differences and focus on the lessons learnt and work together towards the common goal of strengthening the NPP for upcoming challenges.
His call for unity comes at a critical moment for the NPP as the party seeks to regroup, strategize, and regain its feet in Ghana’s political landscape. Dr. Bawumia’s message was a reminder of the importance of solidarity, hope, and perseverance in the face of adversity.
