Veteran broadcaster Nana Kwadwo Jantuah has officially ended his five-year stint with Nhyira FM, declaring that “his job there is done.”

According to Jantuah, his departure was by “mutual agreement” with management, who he added wished he would stay on.

Jantuah described the past half-decade at the Kumasi-based station as a journey marked by “hard work, controversies, misunderstandings, love, and hate,” but emphasized he leaves with no bitterness or regrets.

Although he has hosted his final show, he plans to remain with Nhyira FM until the end of the year mentoring his successors and supporting the station behind the scenes until his final goodbye on Christmas Day.

Giving advice to young journalists, Jantuah urged them to hold fast to their integrity, refuse bribes, “add value,” prepare for opportunities, and “keep your heart clean.”

He reflected on his own struggles and triumphs, acknowledging mistakes made but also affirming his growth, resilience, and sense of calling.

Notably, his departure comes shortly after being honored at the 2025 Floodlights Media Excellence Awards, where he clinched both Radio Personality (Ashanti Region) and Media Personality of the Year.

The recognition highlighted his influence and commitment to journalistic excellence in the region.

For listeners and colleagues, the exit marks the end of a bold era of fearless commentary and outspoken media presence at Nhyira FM. For Jantuah, it is the beginning of a new chapter still anchored in his dedication to genuine journalism and societal service.
